The Heartland Healthcare Coalition conducts four (4) general membership meetings a year that are
held in varying locations ….Morton, Peoria, and Bloomington/Normal. These luncheon meetings are
scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. so as to minimize disruptions from the normal work day. A
brief business meeting is followed by a presenter who addresses topics of interest to our members.
Our 2018 Annual Conference entitled "Stakeholder Engagement: "THE KEY" to Better Health & Healthcare" was held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the East Peoria Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center , East Peoria, IL. Our conference theme in 2018 was built around the Making sense out of the seemingly unconnected healthcare model, The moral obligation of leaders, and the using of facts and statistice for a survey of qualtiy outcomes in the Central IL community. Our 2020 Conference is planned and will be held on Friday,September 11, 2020. Keep your clanedar open for this one. The conference will wrap up is at 1:45 pm. Lunch is included.

We also have smaller groups meeting every other month that focus on issues associated with a given community. Currently, the Bloomington/Normal Task Force Group is active with a breakfast meeting (7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.) during the months of March, May, August, and December. These meetings are held at the Illinois Wesleyan University Memorial Center Building, or other various locations.
